What happens if the internet is down? Will I still be able to make calls?

If the internet is down for any reason, our quality equipment easily allows you to switch back to a landline. At Cairns Business Phone Systems we understand being able to communicate in business is one of the most important factors.  Although, the internet going down is a rare occasion you can be reassured you will still be able to make and receive important business calls even if it does.

How is the quality of voice?

VoIP sound quality has improved through the years with increased internet speeds and advances to technology.  Your VoIP should be clear, if it isn’t, there could be a problem with the quality of your hardware, local network traffic, and/or network speeds.

Can I keep my existing phone number?

Yes, you can keep your existing phone number. In addition, you can also program your system to display your landline number when calling from a VoIP line or another option is to have the VoIP line display a local number even if you are working from an office in a different location. Please inform us if either of these features is of interest to you and we will ensure to explain the process to you.
